The lens of love is seeing self, God, others, and life experiences through God’s eyes. God’s perspective is love, faith, and hope. God invites us to partner with Him to shift our faulty perspectives to align with His perspective daily. It is up to us to accept this invitation. The benefit of the Lens of Love is a fulfilled life with purpose and satisfying relationships.

At the creation, we see as God sees: through the lens of ‘faith, love, and hope.’ After the fall, humans took on the lenses of ‘hopelessness, fear, and hatred.’ These tainted lenses hinder us from forming an intimate relationship with God, a healthy relationship with self, and a satisfying relationship with others. Our Christian journey is to return to the lens of love.

God trains his people to see His perspective through physical things (i.e., Abraham, Jeremiah, Amos) by applying analogy and symbolism. You will learn to recognize God’s voices and ways of speaking in your physical world.

We often focus on overcoming our generational ungodly patterns. We spent very little time remembering, celebrating, or passing on the generational blessings. Seeing generational lines through the lens of love is to discover our generational mandate and partner with the Holy Spirit to pass the godly generational patterns to future generations.

Are there any relationships between your whole being (body, soul, and spirit) and tainted lenses? The heart’s attitude, focus, and words can reveal our tainted lenses. You can identify tainted lenses by observing your focus, words, and attitudes.

You will discover the use of godly and ungodly imagination in communicating with God. The tainted lenses reflect the use of ungodly imagination towards self, God, and others. With simple prayer, you can cast down ungodly imaginations and activate godly imagination.

Writing has a profound effect on our brains. Expressing forgiveness through writing can shift tainted lenses to the lens of love. It can even bring physical healing.

Prophecy can shift the tainted lenses to the lens of love. The tainted lenses affect how we prophesy. Prophesying through the lens of love brings life transformation to others.

Tainted lenses may block you from discovering your significance in Christ. You can identify and remove the tainted lenses preventing you from seeing your significance in Christ.
